Tour Details

Our tours takes us to Kiambethu Farms, a lush and lovely tea estate in the Limuru Highlands where we enjoy lunch hosted by Fiona Vernon, granddaughter of the original settler. Kiambethu still produces tea leaves of the same variety that her grandfather grew when he was the first to plant tea in Kenya almost one hundred years ago.

Established in 1910 by the first family to farm tea in Kenya, it has been home to four generations, including the original owner’s granddaughter Fiona Vernon and her husband Marcus, who now operate a lovely restaurant out of their home.

FAQs

FAQ 1: What can I expect on a 3 days Amboseli safari?

A 3 days Amboseli safari offers exciting game drives, spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many other wildlife species. During the 3 days Amboseli safari, travelers enjoy guided wildlife viewing experiences and comfortable camping accommodations within or near Amboseli National Park.

FAQ 2: Why choose a 3 days Amboseli camping safari instead of a lodge safari?

A 3 days Amboseli camping safari provides a more immersive outdoor experience, allowing you to stay closer to nature and enjoy the sounds of the African wilderness at night. The 3 days Amboseli camping safari is also a budget-friendly option that still includes game drives, wildlife encounters, and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

FAQ 3: Is a 3 days Amboseli safari enough time to see wildlife in Amboseli National Park?

Yes, a 3 days Amboseli safari gives you ample time to explore the park through multiple game drives and maximize your chances of spotting the region’s famous elephant herds and other wildlife. A 3 days Amboseli camping safari also includes early morning and afternoon game viewing sessions, which are often the best times to observe animals in their natural habitat.
