Tour Details

This is a group sharing tour that takes one through Kenya’s premium parks under 6 days. On this day you will visit the famous Masai Mara National reserve known for abundance of wildlife and the migration of wildebeest, Lake Nakuru National Park a Rhino sanctuary and Amboseli National park known for its Jumbo sized Elephants a midst amazing Mount Kilimanjaro backdrop.

Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi - Masai Mara

Your tour starts with pick up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel and proceed to the departure point, here you will clear your balance if any and meet your guide and the rest of the group. At around 8:30am drive to Masai Mara. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Masai Mara shortly after noon and check into your camp, have hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive.

After the game drive, we head back to camp to reach by around 6:30 PM, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at Lenchada Camp/Sankale Camp/Rhino Camp.

Day 2Masai Mara Extended Drive

Today’s is the highlight. Early morning have your breakfast and depart for full day game drives between 6:30-7:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to camp late afternoon around 5:00 PM. Around Midday you will stop at a picnic spot for having packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay. This full day ensures you maximize on available time in Masai Mara reserve in search of its popular residents like the well known Big 5, and other predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river. Back to Lenchada Camp/Sankale Camp/Rhino Camp. for Dinner and night stay.

Day 3 Masai Mara Village - Nakuru

After Breakfast, we start the day with an optional visit to a Masai village nearby. Here we will have the chance to immerse ourselves in Masai culture and witness their daily life and rituals. You can purchase if you like beautifully crafted handiwork by the locals – which will be an authentic souvenir to bring back home and also a way to support the local community. This is an optional activity and it is paid for at the village anything between 10$-20$. Thereafter we proceed to Nakuru town with lunch en-route, another exciting optional activity of boat ride safari is available in small town of Naivasha. We will stop here for a boat trip escorted by a local guide. Nearly 400 bird species can be seen here, if you like this option, be sure to let your guide know, it costs 20$. We will then proceed to Nakuru. Arrive in the evening, just in time for dinner. Overnight at a budget 3star hotel Hill court Resort/Lanet Matfam Resort/Buraha Resort in Nakuru town.

Day 4Nakuru National Park - Amboseli

Early breakfast, then proceed to Lake Nakuru national park for morning game viewing drives. In this park you will proceed for an extensive game viewing in search of cats among the ‘Yellow fever’ acacia trees which are leopards favorite and also we will be in search of Rhino. Nakuru is the home to the White rhinos and has tens of Black rhinos too. Lake Nakuru National park is known for flamingos and other water birds like the Pelicans and Cormorants. No wonder Americas finest photographer – Roger Tory Petersen described it as the best photographic Paradise in the World for its seasonally large concentrations of greater and lesser flamingos, Lake Nakuru boasts some 600-bird species. It is also a designated rhino sanctuary, as well as home to other rare wildlife species. Being a small park we will have covered it by noon, then with lunch en route depart to Amboseli. Arriving late evening in time for dinner and night stay at AA Lodge/Manjaro Camp/Nyati Camp

Day 5Amboseli Park Extended Drives

After breakfast depart with our picnic lunch boxes for a full day game viewing drives, Where Mount Kilimanjaro background offers a good photographic scenery coupled with animals such as Buffaloes, lions, gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeests, hyenas, Warthogs, zebras, giraffes and baboons on the ground. All meals and overnight at AA Lodge/Manjaro Camp/Nyati Camp

Day 6Amboseli Back to Nairobi

Pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi or drop off at Train station or Airport.
